My trip to Haiti has deeply impacted my life and strongly shaped my world view.

I am a firm believer that lasting impact and change is most effective through the vehicle of relationships with local leaders and long term sustainable partnership no matter what the community. I no longer see poverty as strictly material, but rather something all of humanity wrestles with in each of their own way. To see a team full of people come alive to themselves and who God wired them to be in one single highly intentional week was pure joy.
